Pragati

enthusiastically observed Aranya
Saptaha (Forest Week),
an annual environmental awareness
programme celebrated across West
Bengal from 14th to 20th July, with
the objective of promoting tree
plantation and fostering environmental
consciousness among students and
society.
The programme was graced by the
esteemed presence of distinguished
academicians and educationists:

History of Institution
Based on the
fundamental conviction that education
can provide the answers to some of the
greatest challenges to 21 st century,
Pragati College of Education began its
journey from 1st July, 2014.

Foundation, this college is

Committee National Council for
Teacher Education (ERC-NCTE) and
affiliated to the West Bengal
University Teachers’ Training
Education Planning and
Administration (WBUTTEPA) &
West Bengal Board of Primary
Education (WBBPE)
.This premier institute shot to fame
within a short span of time while
advancing in accomplishment of
achieving the agenda of UNESCO
'Education 2030'. The institute is
located in a strategic position, well
connected and accessible to all, in
the lap of Himalayas. This college
stands in the educational hub area of
Siliguri attracting students from the
hills, plains and the neighbouring
SAARC countries.
