Good opportunity to the underprivileged tribal community with their education and overall development and also with necessary facilities needed for social development. There has been a long felt need of establishing a new B.Ed. College in the Siliguri Sub-Division with a vision to giving a scope to the educated youth for acquiring Bachelor of Education Degree to enhance their scale and competency to join teaching as profession. Such a degree in a knowledge based society, may be treated for an essential prerequisite for becoming a teacher in a Secondary I Higher Secondary School. Keeping proper emphasis on the need of the society and to meet the future challenges in the field of education a new proposed B.Ed college is coming up in Dagapur by the name Pragati College of Education. The College is situated in Tribal and Backward area, hence providing Good opportunity to the underprivileged tribal community with their education and overall development and also with necessary facilities needed for social development.
